Road Test Preparation

2 hours of focused in-car practice to prepare for your G2 or G road test. It can be done as one 2-hour session or two sessions of 1 hour each.

What’s included

  • 2 total hours of in-car practice with a professional instructor.
  • Specific preparation for your G2 or G road test.
  • Targeted review of:
    • Typical test routes (where allowed)
    • Parking (parallel, reverse, three-point turns)
    • Lane changes, merging, and highway segments (for G tests)
    • Right-of-way at intersections and four-way stops

How the sessions work

  • You can choose either:
    • 1 session of 2 hours, or
    • 2 sessions of 1 hour each.
  • We focus on your biggest difficulties (parking, left turns, speed control, etc.).
  • Available in Ottawa and Peterborough.
  • Note: This package is for practice only and does not automatically include the rental car for the road test. For car rental, see our “Road Test – Rental Car” package.

Who is this package for?

  • Drivers who already know how to drive but want to feel ready for the exam.
  • Students who have failed a previous test and want to understand what went wrong.
  • Anyone who needs a quick but focused tune-up before the road test.

Cancellation & rescheduling

  • Sessions can usually be moved if you give at least 24 hours notice.
  • Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a fee. Please see our school policy.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can this be combined with the car rental package?
Yes. Many students take this package and also book the “Road Test – Rental Car” for the exam day.

Is this enough if I have not driven in a long time?
If you are very rusty, we recommend considering a package with more hours (such as Silver, Gold or 5-Hour).

Will we drive on the exact test route?
When possible, we practice in the areas commonly used by examiners, but official routes are not publicly fixed.

Can I use my own car for these lessons?
In most cases, we use our instructor vehicle, but special arrangements can sometimes be made. Ask us when booking.
