Road Test Preparation
A focused 2-hour practice session designed to fine-tune your driving skills right before your G2 or G exam.
What this module includes
- 2 hours of intensive driving feedback from an expert instructor.
- Direct assessment of your readiness for the G2 or G road tests.
- A detailed run-through covering:
- Common test routes and local traffic patterns
- Executing proper parallel and reverse parking
- Highway entry, exit, and lane changes (if preparing for the G test)
- Right-of-way rules and intersection management
Booking Your Session
- You may complete this training as:
- One continuous 2-hour drive, or
- Two separate 1-hour sessions.
- Available to test-takers in Ottawa and Peterborough.
- Important: This is a coaching-only package. It does not include the use of our vehicle for your actual road test. Check out our "Basic Package" if you need the rental car included.
Is this option for you?
- Candidates who are already confident drivers but want a professional mock-test experience.
- Those who have their own vehicle for test day.
- Students needing to correct a specific mistake after a previous unsuccessful test attempt.
Cancellation Rules
- You may reschedule easily by providing at least 24 hours notice.
- Failure to give sufficient notice may incur a fee as detailed in our school policy.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I upgrade to get the rental car later?
Yes, you can separately purchase our “Road Test – Rental Car” package if you decide you don't want to use your own vehicle.
Is 2 hours enough if I am rusty?
If you haven't driven in months, we highly recommend looking at our 4-hour Essential or 6-hour Silver packages instead.
Do we drive exactly where the test happens?
We practice heavily in the zones frequently used by the DriveTest center, though exact routes are at the examiner's discretion.
