8 hours of in-car practice to prepare for your G2 or G test, plus the use of the instructor’s vehicle for your road test.
What’s included
- 8 total hours of in-car practice with a certified instructor.
- Can be used to prepare for both your G2 and G tests.
- Use of the instructor’s vehicle for your road test (G2 or G), at an agreed DriveTest centre.
- Focus on:
- Parking (parallel, reverse, three-point turns)
- Complex intersections and left turns
- Lane changes and merging
- Speed management, observation and blind spot checks
How the sessions work
- Sessions can be booked as 2-hour lessons or 1-hour sessions.
- We spread the 8 hours based on your availability and your test date.
- Available in Ottawa and Peterborough.

- Drivers who want more practice than the Silver package.
- Students who want enough time to repeat manoeuvres and correct bad habits.
- Anyone who wants both practice and the use of a school car on test day.
Cancellation & rescheduling
- Lessons can usually be rescheduled with at least 24 hours notice.
- Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a fee, according to our school policy.

Can I use the Gold package for a G test?
Yes. The practice hours and the car rental can be used for either G2 or G.
Is the car rental included in the price?
Yes, the Gold package includes the use of the instructor’s vehicle for your booked road test.
Can I do 4 sessions of 2 hours each?
Yes. We can split the 8 hours into 1-hour or 2-hour blocks depending on what works best for you.
Can I add more hours later?
Yes, you can always add extra lessons or another package if you feel you need more practice.
